Color, Black and White or Sepia ToningAll images will be shot in color, but can be converted to either black and white or sepia. There will be no charge for converting the color when ordering a print of that image.
Images burned to discAll images will be given to the client as high resolution files burned to DVD ROM. These files are generally suitable for printing up to 8x10 images. While I retain copyright of the photos, I give the client limited release to reprint images for their personal use. The contract more clearly defines the terms of this release.
PrintsPrints are available in 4x6, 5x7, 8x10 and 11x14 sizes. Larger prints can be made by special request. Print prices do not include matting and/or framing. If matting and/or framing is desired, we can discuss options available and I will provide you with a custom quote. Complimentary digital retouching of minor cosmetics is provided for prints 8x10 and larger.
Proofs & AlbumsProofs are delivered as 4x6 prints on professional quality photo paper. If an album is desired, there are a multitude of album choices available. Options include high grade leathers, bound hardcover photo books, embossing of the cover and post or pin bound albums with matted photos. Prices can vary greatly based on which options are chosen. We will discuss your needs and a custom quote will be provided to you.
Digital RetouchingRetouching will be done free of charge to correct any photographic anomalies (i.e.- red eye or lens glare from glasses). Minor Digital retouching, such as teeth whitening and blemish removal, is complimentary with prints of 8x10 or larger. Detailed retouching, outside of minor cosmetic adjustments, is available for a fee of $35 per image. Retouching of images 5x7 and smaller will be charged at $25 an image.
Engagement Sessions
An engagement session is 1 hour in length and can be done at any local site the couple wishes. Images from the session will be provided to the couple as high resolution images on DVD ROM. An additional DVD ROM will be provided for the couple to give to newspapers for their engagement announcement. Prints are available from the session at an additional charge.
DVD SlideshowImages will be used to create a DVD slideshow. Copyright laws do not allow for the unauthorized use of music in a DVD, however, copyright free music is available if desired. DVD cases will be individualized with a photo, couples names and wedding date.
Additional PhotographerIf desired, a second photographer will be provided during specified coverage times for an additional fee. This will increase the variety in your images as well as give you more total images to choose from. This is strongly recommended for larger weddings.
General Information
Coverage areasAlexandra Handley will gladly travel to provide photographic services. Travel within 2 hours from York, PA is included in all packages. For locations outside the local travel area, a travel fee of $75/hour will apply.
Reserving a dateTo reserve a date, client must submit a signed contract and a retainer fee equal to 1/3 the total package amount. A second retainer installment (equal to 1/3 package price) is due 6 months before the event date. The final 1/3 payment is due two weeks before the event. If an event is being booked less than 6 months in advance, a retainer equal to 2/3 of the total amount will be due with the contract signing. The remaining 1/3 to be paid 2 weeks prior to the event.
Spring and Summer bookingsDue to the popularity of the spring and summer months, I have a 6 hour minimum for Saturday events in April, May and June.
